Build

Having a house built is likely to be one of the largest financial investments you will make, so it's important that the materials and workmanship are of good quality, progress is checked regularly against the specification, and the construction finishes on time.

Cost

Labour charges and material prices vary all the time, and depend on the individual design and finishes required. Our standard building cost for a house with good quality finishes is currently €1,350 per m2.

We advise you to allow up to €200 per m2 for statutory items (architect/permit, IKA and VAT), although the actual figure is usually less than this.
