Flights to Crete

In general, flights are determined by the winter and summer seasons. The winter season entails a scheduled international flight to Athens or Thessalonika, then a domestic connection to Chania or Heraklion. In the summer (end of March to end of October), direct charter flights to Crete from a variety of UK and north European airports are numerous and can offer some very good deals.

Chania and Heraklion airports are the two charter destinations and the flights take about four hours from the UK. All charter carriers act as agents for package holiday companies so it can be a good idea to search for "Holiday bargains".
